It was an ugly affair due to 24 combined penalties and 224 penalty yards, but in between flags the Irish defense put together a second consecutive strong performance. They allowed 7 points, pressured Boise 33 times, and registered 4 interceptions. The Notre Dame running backs of Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price combined for 24 carries and 186 plus another two touchdowns to lead the Irish offense once again.
